That way the piece sits there and dries at least overnight, or until I can come back to it. (I don't get to do this for a living) that makes cleaning up dried glue squeeze out a pretty regular task. I never thought of it as miserable task, just something that needed doing from time to time. What a miserable task! Hide glue can be rolled off by your finger or (the edge of a six inch ruler) once gelled... or if it does dry, you can wipe it off with warm water.
